What Your Dog Wants You to Know

What Your Dog Wants You to Know . If your dog could talk, these are some of the most essential things she would like to tell you, in her own words…

1 It’s likely that my life will end within the next seven to fourteen years.
If I have to stay apart from you for more than a day or two, it will hurt me more than you could ever imagine.

2 If you have patience with me and allow me time to discover what it is that you would want from me, I can guarantee that you will never be let down by anything that I do for you.

3 – Entrust your life to me, and have faith in the bright future we share together.
I will be under a lot of mental and emotional strain if I don’t get the sense that you believe in me with all of your heart. Your faith in me is the single most important factor that determines how much I value myself.

4 – Do not hold your anger at me for an extended period of time or put me in a cage as a kind of punishment.
You have your pals, your career, and the activities that you enjoy doing in your spare time. I HAVE ONLY YOU!

5 – Please communicate with me as regularly as possible and feel free to discuss whatever you like.
The inflection in your voice enables me to decipher the significance of what you are conveying to me even if I am unable to comprehend the specific words that you are using.

6: Keep in mind that regardless of how you treat me, I will NEVER forget it, no matter how long it takes.

7: When you consider lifting your hand to hit me, keep in mind that I have teeth that might shatter the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you. My teeth could break the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you.

8 – Before you start yelling at me for not responding to your directions as I normally do, take some time to consider what may be wrong with me that would lead me to treat you in a different manner than I normally do. If you can’t figure out what’s wrong with me, then you shouldn’t yell at me.
It’s possible that I haven’t been getting enough water or that I haven’t been eating properly. Or perhaps the effects of aging have finally caught up with me, and I am simply unable to perform the same tasks as before.

9 – You are responsible for taking excellent care of me in my old age.
You will one day be the same age as me, and then you will understand how I feel.

10 – Always be there for me, whether we’re having a good time or a difficult time.
Never let it be said that you are unable to manage taking me to the veterinarian if I need stitches or surgery. There is no possible way to make me feel any worse. Having you at my side makes it much simpler for me to deal with the challenges that arise in every aspect of my life.
Always keep in mind that my love for you is unending and that it will follow you for the rest of your life.
